Christmas Village: From the day after Thanksgiving to New Year's Eve
Our local Christmas Village begun in 2008 was a BIG hit with all our visitors. The turnout was even better than we had expected and Santa was a big hit with the children, and their families as the pictures turned out so well. And they had lots of time to visit with the big man.
This coming year's Christmas Village will be even better --- more buildings, more lights both on the bridge and in the towns, more people and, of course, more visits with Santa.
Local Summer Events:
The Copper Basin is going to be hopping this summer with six special Event days and evenings. On July 25th, we are having our Quilts and Crafts Festival. The Quilt competition and exhibit will highlight this day. There will be quilting workshops, a tent where attendees can try their hands at quilting, a quilt display in our City Hall building which will feature a People's Choice Award for the quilts displayed.
Christmas is Here! is proud to announce that we will have Ed Ditto, author of "Heart for a Hero", a local mystery that actually has a quilt show set at the YMCA (City Hall) building in Copperhill, here at our store signing copies of his book. Ed has said that he will be here for most of the day (or as long as people come) so plan to come visit with Ed and buy his book to be personally signed for you.
Feel free to call us if you need any further information or to order the book signed for you if you cannot make it to Copperhill for that day.
